About

Bio-LNG, from field to tanker

Proposed Sumatra bio-LNG plant: digesters, a solar array, liquefaction tanks, and road tankers in the fields.

BioJejak follows an energy crop from the field into the digesters, through upgrading and liquefaction, and onto the tanker that leaves. Where the biogas is short of methane, renewable hydrogen can turn the biogenic carbon dioxide into more methane before the gas is liquefied. The purpose is a load of liquid methane that can be tied back to the crop that made it.
