Compost, from empty fruit bunches
BioJejak follows empty fruit bunches from the mill onto the compost pad. The truck is tagged, the windrow is scanned as it is turned, and the compost that leaves is the same batch. It goes back under the palms and into the nursery, in the spreader and in the bag. The purpose is a soil amendment that can be traced to the bunches that were stacked, rather than a residue left to rot.
