Pilot plants

A pilot plant runs the proposed process on the real feedstock at a scale large enough to measure gas yield, stability, and effluent, and small enough that a wrong assumption is cheap. It is how a feasibility study stops being a literature yield.
Results belong to the stated feedstock and the stated loading. They are not a guarantee of the full-scale plant.
