Feasibility studies

Feasibility study on a biomass project

A feasibility study asks whether a biomass project can be built and financed on a stated feedstock, site, and offtake. The technical half is mass and energy balance, technology choice, and a first equipment list. The financial half is the model: capital cost, operating cost, output, and the price the offtake must clear.

The model is part of the study, not a separate brochure. Figures stay tied to the assumptions written next to them. A study does not promise a plant.

Pathways: biogas, biomethane upgrading, bio-LNG, green methanol, sustainable aviation fuel, renewable diesel, composting, biochar.
